ABOUT ME
C.M. Cahill is a tutor, crafter, and now writer. She has been writing contemporary romance books for a few years but has had the passion to write since her youth. She currently has two series in the works; Tragic Hope and the new series Love Awaits. CM can often be found reading a variety of books including romance, suspense, young adult and science-fiction. She also enjoys walking in the park and working on her Etsy shops.
Though native of Delaware, CM Cahill has resided in Tampa Bay, Florida for the past fifteen yrs. She lives with her son and two dogs.
Author Interview
Q: When did you first start writing?
A: I've been writing as long as I can remember. I have stashed old short stories from school. Also used to write along of poetry.
Q: Do you have a day job as well?
A: Yes, I have many it seems. My number one job is a mom. I work part-time as a tutor & data entry clerk. I'm also on my church council and have two Etsy shops.
Q: Do you ever experience writer's block?
A: Often! If I do, I just keep replaying the last scene I wrote in my head till something comes to me. Might happen that day or might take a few days.
Q: Is there any particular author or book that influenced you in any way either growing up or as an adult?
A: All of them! Well pretty much anyway. Might be that it's something I want to add, like oh I will how they did the detail there, or might be something I want to avoid.
Q: Now for some fun questions, Do you prefer fuzzy or tub socks?
A: Neither, but must have socks! Just regular ankle ones will do. Even when it's super hot (like it gets here in Florida), I have to have them on.
Q: Are you a person who makes their bed in the morning, or do you not see much point?
A: Don't see the point. Plus even if I did, my dogs would probably just mess it up anyway.
Q: Do you have a secret "author" crush?
A: Of course, unfortunately he's dead. I love Edgar Allan Poe.
