Tragic Hope Fun Facts

  1. Tragic Hope was originally written in 2009.

  2. A bit ashamed to admit this, but when I first started writing Tragic Hope, it was a fan-fiction for Twilight. That lasted for about a paragraph.

  3. The first scene written began at the Renaissance Festival.

  4. Tragic Hope was not suppose to end the way it did. I wanted to avoid the love triangle but the more I wrote about Scraps, the more I liked him :)

  5. I hand wrote Tragic Hope and still have the notebooks.

  6. I gave Brice his name because it was what I wanted my son's middle name to be and it was close to my first real love's name, Bree.

  7. Mason's house was inspired by a house that was across the street from my dad's, minus the pimped out garage.

  8. The reason the Renaissance Festival is so detailed is because I attend every year, we even dress up. 

  9. One year, the king there sang Happy Birthday to my son.

  10. The drive Lily was on when she had her accident, was my way home from work.

Dyed Thoughts Fun Facts

  1. I LOVED writing from Scraps's POV

  2. The band they saw in London (SubZero) is from my fellow author's books, you can check her out here: Rebecca Elise

  3. Scraps was originally based off a guy I dated in high school that dyed his hair often.

  4. Nate aka Scraps was originally named "Tim."

  5. Writing his POV of Lily's accident was hard! Trying to have him the right mixture of emotions was quite the task.

  6. I knew I was going to do his POV while writing Tragic Hope

  7. I do plan on at least one more novella from his POV, it already has a name ;)

Worth the Wait Fun Facts

  1.  The 1st book I had to write sex scenes for.

  2. Had stolen Alisa's name from another future WIP

  3. Also had the most name changes (ie Derek's friends)

  4. Changed them from generic Mike, Wayne & Luke to Tristan, Weston & Reid in case I decide to do books for them.

  5. Derek Armstrong (the lead guy) was named in honor of my favorire series, Darkest Powers. First name Derek for the guy in it and Armstong for the author-Kelley Armstrong.

  6. I have never been to North Carolina. Driven through it though.

  7. I was addicted (and still am) to Pinterest while writing this. Every outfit had to be found :)

  8. The proposal came to me while I was copying down the blessing that is before it.

  9. The park they go to is based on the one I frequent the most here in my area.

  10. It was a bit difficult to write all the bar/drinking stuff because I haven't really drank alcohol in over 5 years!
